One thing I learned about toddlers...well, THIS toddler anyway...is that weird phases come and go. For several days or weeks, they do weird things that they find amusing. Sometimes, they only last a day or two...sometimes a few weeks...sometimes, we WISH they'd go away, but they are STILL going on. Here's a few examples.
Exhibit A: Lucas would get every stuffed animal he had, and then make you pull him up on your lap.
Of course, we learned quickly to strategically place stuffed animals in other rooms to minimize the overwhelming amount of animals.
Exhibit B: Laying on the floor, he would throw his legs in the air, then slam them down. And he wanted you to join him. This phase is still ongoing.
Of course, he also used this to give you a big splash.
Exhibit C: Putting every toy he could fit into his shirt.
This phase didn't last too long. For two reasons...one, the stuff in there like blocks would irritate his skin, and...
...right after this picture, he fell. Evidently, it didn't feel too good, because he didn't do it anymore.
Exhibit D: Singing. We have no clue WHAT he's singing, but he's doing it.
The LEAST annoying of the phases. It's quite amusing, actually.
